Description

From Reb Leibeleh Eiger's Imrei Emes. Elul is a time of teshuva and return to perfection before God. What does it mean to be perfect before God? Both Tamim and Breishis being with enlarged letters. This signifies two types of light, a perfect light and a perfected light. The perfect light is the light of God. The perfected light of return is man's light that he perfected in his life. Man has the ability to perfect what he ruined. This perfection is cherished more by God and is the desired light of redemption.
