Description

In this Mussar shmooze for Parshat Eikev, we will study the verse: All the commandments that I command you today you shall observe (8:1), why does the verse begin in the grammatical singular & end in the plural? We will be inspired by the story told in the Sefer V'Higadita by HaRav Yaakov Galinsky zatza"l. What lesson are we to derive from the Manna regarding Bein Adam L'Chaveiro? How are we to understand the anguish and the suffering of the Ba'al Teshuva, a common phenomenon? What is the lesson of Birchat HaMazon, and why is the Halacha of Safek re: one who ate but doesn't recall whether or not he benched a strange Halacha? Finnaly, why should we hush up on the strict laws re: interruptions in Birkat HaMazon?
