Description
We will complete our study of the Ramban's insights in his commentary on Parshet Eikev on the integration of the many different themes of Moshe Rabenu's Mussar presentation in Chapter 10, verses 12-22. Why is the section re: gerim, orphans & widows relevant here? Why does the Ramban maintain that Tfillah DeOraita is prayer at a moment of crisis, et tzara? What defines an Eved Hashem, & why does the slave's relationship to his master serve as the paradigm of Avodas Hashem? What is unique about E"Y and its relationship to prayer? What is dveikus? Who is permitted to swear in His Name? The Mussar of Moshe Rabenu in Eikev is perhaps the most profound & eloquent presentation of the message of Hashem for us, & His love for the chosen nation.
