Description

The prohibition of forgetting Hashem appears twice, once in Parshat Vaetchanan, and a second time in Ekev. Based on the Ramban's understanding of this Lav, we will try to justify the need for what seems an exact repitition. We will study the Ramban here and in Parshat VeZot HaBracha to see how Moshe Rabenu was able to disprove the argument of "kochi veOtzem Yadi" and instill in Bnei Yisrael an emuna which would last for all generations. Finally, we will study the words "pen yarum levavcha" as the source for the prohibition against arrogance.
