Description

In this shiur for Parshat Devarim, we will study a number of comments of the Ramban and attempt to integrate the insights of the Ramban into one whole. Our goal is to explain the structure and goal of Moshe Rabenu's presentation which makes up Sefer Devarim. The critical thesis is the severity of the sins of Meriva & the Meraglim. These, in the worldview of the Ramban, are fundemental violations and are presented in Parshas Devarim as an introductions to the fundamental mitzvot that make up Parshas VaEschanan. If we read the Ramban carefully, we can derive an equation between Eretz Yisrael and Kabbalas HaTorah.
