Methodology of Psak Halacha (Yeshivat Har Etzion): This shiur explores how poskim deal with situations in which policy is shaped by different legitimate traditions of psak than their own. Specifically, it explores how Sfardi poskim deal with a society that follows the lenient positions of Ashkenazim in issues of Bishul Akum, making it difficult for Sfardim to eat at kosher restuarants. It also explores Rabbi Ovadiah Yosef's use of Sfek Sfeika.
