Packets from Rav Mottel Zilber, pages 28-30. In life, whatever a person places the emphasis on, becomes the best indicator of how he or she will act. For Jews, this applies to serving God. A person cannot make everything the main part, so something is chosen. In Lithuania it was Torah. For Chassidim it was raising sparks, especially through prayer. However, for each group, certain areas becomes neglected. The neglected areas require us to guard those areas. For Chassidim, Torah became an area which needed to be guarded. Areas of tznius were also an area chassidim guarded especially well. A person needs to balance his life properly.
