Description

Pages 81-82. Every aspect of creation is really a spark of holiness, from which creation gains its strength. Sparks are synonymous with Godliness. Lifting up the fallen sparks activates the good hidden within. Godliness is the source for loving and being loved. At the same time they are the root of pain and suffering due to creation not reaching its full potential. A person needs self-actualization. Without this, we will feel existential pain and suffering. Sparks are associated with the trait of Gevura, the trait of individuation and multiplicity. The nature of these sparks is to move, ideally up to their supernal root. Creation is also cloaked in letters. Tzaddikim are able to see these letters, and raise the sparks in everything they do.
