Description

Chapter 10, pages 29-30. The main part of redemption is the revelation of a new light, not a change in physical reality. In the process of redemption, a Jew should not think that the movements of the nations have an effect. Some of the nations are helpful and considerate to the Jewish people. However, they think that they are effecting the redemption. God is the one who will redeem the Jewish people, no nation and no person will. During the redemption, even helpful nations will express regret in helping the Jewish people, and attempt to retract their help and harm them. This is what happened in Egypt, and continues to happen until the final redemption. Leaving Egypt remains in the redemptive consciousness of the Jewish people and the world.
