Description

From Kitzu ViRaninu by Rabbi Chaim Cohen (Chalban), pages 247-251. There is a major spiritual dryness felt throughout all of Judaism, even amongst the religious Jews. This leads to boredom and people seek stimulation from outside of things Jewish. The inner root of this problem is that most people do not speak to the greatness of the person. The cure for this is to go out and inspire other Jews, to be mashpia with Torah and holiness. This is both the cure for them and for the person being mashpia, who might also feel dry. The opposite is turning further toward the self. The foundation of the world is to be mashpia, whether with family, students, or a community. We were given a specific mission and we must believe that it is our foundation
