Description

Chapter 8, Page 24. The separation of Torah SheBichtav (Written Torah) and Torah SheBaal Peh (Oral Torah) is at the root of exile. It is represented by Moshiach ben Yosef and Moshiach ben Dovid. The written Torah is the fabric and sense of the world. The words of the written Torah are everything, the "davar" (thing), for the entire world. The oral Torah is the light that expresses the senses. It is the covenant God made personally with the Jews. The written Torah is expressed in a limited sense, while the oral Torah seems limitless. Moshiach will fuse the world of the written Torah and the oral Torah. This topic is also related to the soul and the body.
