Description

"Baruch Dayan HaEmes" is a 4 part series given in Yad Binyamin on halachic issues of Death and Mourning... Lifecycle events happen. Most are joyous occasions that are planned out beforehand, and we take our time to learn the pertinent halachot so that these occasions can be celebrated properly. However, some more sober occasions, such as the death of a loved one, we naturally shy away from addressing. The study of these laws often occurs only on the spur of the moment or is simply overlooked because of the difficulty of the situation. As we begin the three weeks of national mourning for the destruction of the Beit Hamikdash, we embark on a four part series exploring the Halachot pertaining to Availut on a personal level.
