Description

We will begin with an overview of P"R. We have studied this Mitzvah of Pirya VeRivya from a conceptual perspective. In this shiur, we will look at this mitzva from a practical view. Specifically, we will address the question of postponing this mitzva. Is there a violation of this mitzva, i.e. a Bittul Mitzvat Esa, involved in postponement of the fulfillment of P"V? Is there permission to allow for spacing between the first child and the second? We will outline the issues and survey some of the major Teshuvot of the poskim who have addressed this important area of Halacha. .
