Description

The greater the kedusha, the greater the reverence towards that kedusha. This principle will apply to Har Sinai, to the Aron HaBris in the Mishkan, to a Sefer Torah, and to Limud HaTorah. Fear and trembling must accompany our experience of re-enacting Kabbalas HaTorah on Shavuot. Man must not come too close to Kodesh, the Shechina is awe inspiring, and one must be constantly aware of the presence of the Shechina when one studies His Torah. Hashem gave His people the Torah and Himself along with the Torah, In this Sicha we will understand that Yirat HaShem is the clothing that protects all of our Mitzvot and is the key to success in spiritual matters. The joy and love follows the fear and trembling.
