just fyi: on the day when t'fillin is mentioned in the kriah (first day of chol hamoed pesach) in Breuers they only take off the t'filin after the kriah.
It is interesting that t'filin and peisach is mentioned together in the same parsha in chumash. Doesn't that also indicate that they can come together?
