Description

What is the special role of Yitzchok Avinu, and why does the Torah dedicate less to Yitzchok that the other Avot? We will study the insights of the Emes LeYaakov. Why did Hashem deem it necessary that Yaakov "steal" the brachot? We will study the works of some of the giants of Chassidic thought, the Sfas Emes and the Shem MiShmuel. One of the goals of this shiur is the defining of truth and falsehood, and we will study the insights of Rav Dessler on this fundamental question. We have chosen the title Insights into Parshat Toldot for this shiur because we hope to touch on the essentials of this parsha.
