Description

Kli Yakar offers an insight into the connection between the beginning of the Torah with its end. In this shiur we will examine the relationship between Succot & Parshat Bereishit which immediately follows. The offspring of Lemech contribute to human society and culture, and Yuval and Naama introduce song & music to the world. But all of man's abilities must be channeled to Avodat HaShem and music is an excellent example. We will establish that the personality of Lemech is complex, and the conflicts within him give way to the dualism in his progeny as they struggle to use their capabilities for good rather than evil. We will study the connection between Lemech & Shaul and how and why it is no less than Dovid who will provide therapy 4 Shaul.
