Those who come to the Land are required to feel a powerful love for E”Y. In the first part of this "shmooze" (which was not recorded), we emphasize that generations of Jews from the four corners of the earth have longed for thousands of years to come to the Land, and you have been granted the special Divine privilege to come to be here and study Torah here. But together with this privilege comes the responsibility to appreciate the land and connect to it. Signs of physical & spiritual redemption emerge everywhere, for those who will only open their eyes. We must be totally committed to the destiny of our people in the Land. Like the mitzvah of contributing for the building of the Mishkan in the desert, all depends upon nedivut ha’lev.
