In this shiur to the NCSY Kollel, we will introduce the topic of this series on the Transmission of the Torah. Was the entire Torah, both written & oral, as we know it, given at Har Sinai? What does Rav Yochanan mean when he claims מגילה מגילה ניתנית? Were there laws that Moshe Rabeinu did not know even after he received the Torah at Har Sinai? Was there human initiative in the laws of the Torah? Is there any authority to change the laws of the Torah? These and many other questions will be addressed, IYH"a, during this series for the Kollel.
