We continue our analysis of the principle of Reish Lakish, namely, that Aseh Doche Lo TaAseh only applies when there is as an absolute conflict between the Aseh & the Lo TaAseh, and it is impossible to fulfill the Aseh without violating the Lav. The main subject of the shiur will be an analysis of the view of the Beit Yosef, and a defense of the latter's view from the onslaught of the Shaagat Aryeh. The latter seems to have found a Sugya which contradicts the opinion of the Beit Yosef.
