The central episode of parshat Korach is, of course, machloket, the uprising & rebellion of Korach and his community. Rashi tells us to comprehend the severity of machloket: we never find punishment for nursing babies, and yet even these guiltless new-born babes perished when the earth swallowed the community of Korach. Is there a similarity to the parsha of ben sorer umoreh? In this shiur, we will discuss the toxic impact of machloket especially within the context of a marriage relationship. We will also discuss the metaphysical, protective power of harmony.
