We begin to prepare ourselves for the month of Nissan which will enter in just hours. The first month is the month of the miracle of Yetziat Mitzrayim. We fulfill our obligation to remember the redemption from Egypt by calling the months by #'s rather than names. The #'s relate to the Geulah from Mitzrayim. In a similar way the Ramban requires that we call the days of the week by #'s to remind us of the Shabbat. In this shiur we will focus on the mitzvah of HaChodesh HaZeh and the many mitzvot that are connected to Mitzrayim. We will see that there is a Mitzvah to remember the GeUlah, which includes the Ultimate redemption which began at the time of Ezra & Nechemya when the people left Bavel and settled in E"Y & will conclude with Mashiach.
