Description

What brought Korach to rise up against Moshe & Aron and rebel against them? The Ramban quotes the interpretations of both Rashi & the Ibn Ezra. The latter will approach this episode with the rule of "Ein Mukdam U'Me'uchar BaTorah", a rule which the Ramban cannot tolerate. In this shiur we will study the Ramban's alternative approach. We will also study the underlying argument which Korach put forth in his rebellion, and analyze the faulty "religious subjectivity" which underlies the theology of Korach, as explained by the Rav zatzal.
