Description

The Gemera asks if uprooting a part of a Halachah is the same as uprooting the Halachah entirely. The Mishnah on 4b speaks about the Muflah of the Sanhedrin, and Rabbi Tendler explains the various opinions of what that means, including the way he learned when he was in Yeshiva (which Rashi supports, but some Achronim do not). Rabbi Tendler reminds us that when we're talking about Emes versus Sheker, we must know that we're not Shakronim.
