Description

Modern Communications have raised a host of new ethical and Halachic issues. E-Mail remains the main method of communication on the Internet and has changed many aspects of the way we pass on information and connect to family, friends, co-workers and clients. Does the Takanah of Rebbenu Gershom banning reading others' letters apply to e-mail? Is it fair to expect privacy in e-mails and that they won't be forwarded to others? Would the same rules apply to ListServs?
