Rabbi Tendler begins the discussion of the rationale and consequences of Takanas Chachamim by explaining how Quinoa is not Kosher for Pesach. The Gemera told us that the Chachamim were not Gozer on the Shivchas Zerah of non-Jews, as opposed to a Zav emission. Machkokes Hillel & Shammai whether the word Zachar includes Nikavos as well. Is there a Halachah that Zivah itself is m'Tamei, or does a Zav's Tumah status come from elsewhere?
