The notebook feature allows you to download more than one shiur at a time or print more than one article at a time. You add shiurim to your notebook, and when you are ready, you open the notebook and print or download all the shiurim to iTunes. How do I add shiurim to the notebook? You can add shiurim in a number of ways. On the browse and search pages, next to each result there is a button to add the shiur.
You can either add an individual shiur to the notebook, or add all the shiurim in the list to the notebook at once with the "Add all" button. How do I access the list of shiurim I have added to my notebook? When you are ready to download all the shiurim to iTunes or print all the articles, you click on the notebook icon located at the top of the page, above the browse button to the left of the parsha link.
Clicking on the noebook icon will open up the noebook window, with a list of all the shiurim and articles that you have added to it, in the order in which they were added. From there you can download all the audio into itunes, and the articles into a pdf. How do I download the audio shiurim directly to my computer? Unfortunately at this time the notebook does not allow for downloading audio directly to your computer. You need to access it through iTunes or any other podcast program you have on your computer. We hope to allow for this functionality in a later version of the notebook feature. I clicked on the iTunes button, and nothing happened. Please give the computer time to load the program. Times will vary based on the amount of memory of the computer in use at the time, and other factors. How do I remove shiurim from the notebook? You can remove the shiurim from both the page you added it from, and from the notebook itself. If you added a shiur from the browse or search results, you can click the blue remove button next to the shiur to remove it.
On the notebook window you can click on a trash icon to remove an individual shiur, or the remove all button at the bottom to remove all the shiurim. Please note that this action cannot be undone. |
