New features and content we added in 2011
- Complete redesign of search and browse system, to allow for more options to filter the results, including length, location and date uploaded.
- Mobile Site - www.yutorah.org/mobile - completely working mobile version of YUTorah, to allow browsing and listening to shiurim and reading articles on your iPhone and Android mobile device.
- Publications page - a complete listing of all the major written publications on YUTorah browsable by volume.
- New affiliates - shiurim being added from Yeshivat Torat Shraga, Yeshivat Shaarei Mevaseret Zion, Yeshivat Shaalvim, Yeshivat Eretz haTzvi, Yeshivat Hakotel, Yeshivat Netiv Aryeh, and many shuls across North America.
New features and content we plan on adding in 2011
- iPad App for enhanced viewing on the iPad device.
- MyYUTorah - more tools for customizing YUTorah to allow for your favorite speakers, series and categories to show up on the front page.
- More seforim - We are in the process of expanding our sefarim resources beyond the Babyloyian Shas to include the basic library of Torah texts and allow for indexing of shiurim by more perakim and simanim.
- Social Learning - Be able to follow what other people are listening to and share what you are learning, to get and give suggestions of shiurim to listen to.
